Your first visit to The Life Center Chiropractic is special. Here’s what you can expect.

The purpose of the first visit is to gather information about your past and current health status and to determine how we can best assist you. This is a conversation about what’s going on in your body and in your life. Because your program of care is holistic and integrated, we believe what brought you to us is also complex. We want to hear about it.

After the consultation we’ll begin your comprehensive neuro-spinal chiropractic analysis to reveal exactly how your body’s performance is being compromised by vertebral subluxation (a misaligned spinal bone that interferes with the transmission of vital nerve signals). This will include a full spectrum evaluation consisting of motion spinal palpation, computerized range of motion studies, and motion x-rays.

That afternoon or evening, one of our doctors will review your findings, then analyze them in detail to determine two things:  

1. Any unusual findings, which when present, may alter our Recommended Program of Care or facilitate possible follow up by another healthcare professional

2. Highlight any precautions necessary for you to receive chiropractic care

Once we have done so, we will integrate these findings with the results of your chiropractic analysis and design a personalized game plan which we will discuss with you on your second visit.

Your second visit to The Life Center Chiropractic has two primary purposes.

1. Discuss the findings of your chiropractic analysis and once fully understood, 

2. Discuss your Program of Care where and how you will learn tools to manage your relationship with stress, pain, postures, forces, loads and performance

   — Support and development of your personal daily movement practice. This is a defining feature of our chiropractic services. We will get you moving in a holistic way every single day.

   — Ultimately, every visit is intended to bring you, the patient, to a maintenance level so you can listen to your body and sustain your own vitality.

Should chiropractic care be appropriate for you, you can choose to begin care on this visit.

Subsequent visits to our office (if necessary), will unfold according to your customized program of care. On one of these visits, you might experience any or all of the following: 

• Hands-on chiropractic adjustments specifically geared toward your alignment needs. No cookie-cutter “pop ‘n crunch” here. 

• Corrective spinal molding and traction.

• Movement sequences, including but not limited to yoga postures and sequences, stretching, strengthening, and stabilizing sequences.

• Breathing protocols. 

• Concentration and meditation sequences.

Our intention is for you to learn and memorize these movements and mindset disciplines and practice them daily.
